How I cook oats porridge: bit of water in the pan with the oats, when u can see the oats cookin add bottle milk. Keep stirring, and pouring milk as required. Keep the fire on low, add the vanilla and whatever else u wanna put in there, mix it up. I use nestle's milk as well for sweetness, u might need to add more bottle milk, depends on the consistency u wanna have. Bring to the boil and voila!

Cornmeal porridge is the same kinda method. You boil the water first, mix up the cornmeal powder with the milk then add it to the water. Follow procedure as above, and bon apetit!

Never heard of plaintain porridge so can't help u there!

BP I was with u on the rice pudding till u said cold straight from the tin. Sometimes I have to wonder about u <shakes head>
