Military technology, particularly the use of gunpowder for military purposes is one of the technological advantages that arabs and whites who exploited the continent had.

When the invaders,slavers DID launch, there was no US/WE. There were countless tribes and ethnicities who for the most part saw nothing in common with each...and who were perhaps rivals for resources. this segmentation was exploited by the outsider...playing groups against one another. No common unifying language,religion, or tradition .


The christian slave trade made europe so wealthy, that by the time the second phase of the exploitation was launched,colonization......the european powers had vast technological advantage over the parts of Africa.
