I hear you on not being sure about the ingredients of McD's check this out
I now use a juicer and blender more for all kinds of drinks. Some of my latest experiements are.
Detox
Ingredients- 1/4 wedge of Galia melon
- 4oz of blackberries
- 3/4 cup of apple juice
Blend melons, blackberries and apple juice together and drink. You can use raspberries too if you want a lighter drink. It tastes quite plain but nice - works too by the way. Have it in the evening and by morning you should get results LOL.
Blemish Buster
Ingredients- 2 large carrots
- 1 parsnip
- 1 avocado
- 1/2/ lemon
Juice the carrots and parsnip. Blend the avocado. Add the juice you made above and squeeze the lemon juice into the mix. Blend together and drink up. Tastes quite nice even if it sound yuck.
Memory Master
Ingredients
- 2 fresh dates
- 4 dried apricots - stoned and chopped
- 2 tbsp seedless raisins
- 8floz f natural plain yogurt
- 1-2 tsp brewers yeast
Blend the dates, apricots and raisins with 6 tbsp of water until smooth. Add the yogurt and brewers yeast and blend again. Haven't tried this one but knowing how your mind run on all kinda tings I reckoned memory is one you'd want to keep up with. If you try this one let us know how it tastes.
I got a whole book on smoothies so let me know what kind of things you want to build up or get rid of and I'll see if I have a recipe.
