i agree with that. Law only points out sin, it does not correct it. the speeding laws do not stop speeders from exceeding the speed limit. only a conscious decision to do so does. I also see your point on the age of accountability. never heard it explained that way.
but if a person is once saved he can not be lost. his penalty will be at the judgement seat of Christ where his actions and inactions will be judged for rewards. a reprobate is not encouraged to live loosely.
that sin is among the church all we have to do is read the epistles of paul. he was constantly prodding believers to come out of sin and serve God. the amount of believers who do so continually is very low. most are sunday and wend. christians. they follow jesus like the crowds of His day for the fish, loaves and miracles...
