I agree. Though it just amazes me how many powerful bigwigs like the Kennedys are supporting him. It 's just amazing how many of our people are out there voting for him and to some degree that angers me. Why? In the past when we were asked to vote, we were so apathetic in doing so. Don't get me wrong, if Barack is waking our people to vote that is good, but it shouldn't have to take him to do it. Our people fought for this and it takes 2008 to do it? It shouldn't have to be , on top of it were voting for a man who , other than being a US Senator , don't know any thing about. While it's impressive to see this at the same time, I really believe that the only reason why we want him there is because he's Black and it shouldn't have to be. I also feel that some of our people are expecting him to be radically different and making sweeping changes from other president because he is an minority. Whether Black or White, the real power is in Congress and if Barack doesn't have their approval, he's good as dead!
