bought this book on friday.

this is his 2nd book I have read. Shocking, amusing and down right sad is mix of emotions I went through when I read book!

I have to constantly remind myself that his books are aimed at young people who live in world/environment I don't. ie ghetoo mentality, me against the world etc.

Sexfiend is about a young man that is obsessed with sex, and his journey on trying to break destructive habits, but faced with 'road man' that try to keep him in bad/unhealthy ways. All they do is 'link' girls, want to make them suffer like they themselves have suffered!!

I was ready this time round for type of talk (very negative) author uses..but like I stated earlier, you have to remind yourself it's geared towards young, uneducated, street types..as language used to keep themselves down is shocking!!!

All I can think is Von Mazor - who I have met a few times now, must have researched types of people/language used etc.

I have met young men like ones in his book, and steered clear - with good reason!
It brings home that 'youths' today need a re-education from so many levels ..but as main character discovers, that is only way to get out of street mentality and unto success.

Twill be interesting to hear other people's thoughts.

p.s it brought home that I am right in minding my own business and leaving men and women alike who gravitate to bars/clubs , to find their dream partner, to fix their problems or those that think world owes them something for types of environment that initially grew up in etc.
