You are angry at ignorance abd. As long as you define ignorance as when people differ with you, set yourself for a long run with anger eating at you friend. A lot of the time shallow people misinterpet what they don't understand as ignorance.

Laziness is not refusing to read and accept your books that you confide in. It is simple being selective in your reading. Let me suggest that you read a book, by Smith Wigglesworth, any of them. Now in a few weeks if I find that you can not tell me anything the book promotes does it make you a lazy man?

And it is not my fault that you have not done a very indepth study of Nat Turner or Abe Lincoln. If you read the auto biography of Nat, you will see that his Christian faith was what kept him strong up to his death. Read it. And Lincoln used us for the sake of the war is all. Could that beconsidered laziness on your part to be making such statements that could be taken seriously by readers who may not be informed. Remember you hate ignorance and laziness.

You mentioned that the verses you quote are taken from the internet. Mine come from the bible that is lying right atop my desk. I use it daily. You say the big difference is that you know what they mean...hmmmm I would rather say that you know more about what they don't mean or rather think you do.

Abd the way the bible is set up is that nothing in it stands alone. The things you say that Paul is really saying should be readily found some place else. But it is not. You can not substantiate your claims. And you are too lazy to read and compare the entirity of Pauls writings but the rather try to discredit him with one or two verses taken out of context.

If you have to try and learn anything about me and all you have were statements that I had written earlier. Would you take just one and define me or would you try and take a battery of them and see if there is a trend? what would the lazy man do?

Oh and abd, also you made a statement that Nat did not go for the obey your slave master, well he did until he felt the time was to move. I have no problem with his valiant effort to fight his way to freedom and back home. His plan was brilliantly thougth out logistically. What he and Vessey did should have gone a long way toward telling white slavers that the soul of the African was not dead and that something should be done one way or the other. but....

And the white women statement is really not at issue especially today. I have seen at least 6 black women/white men couples just today in this southern town. So we see as always sex trumps racism usually.

sorry abd, I read Malcolm back in the 60s brother. Having lived in a southern state and town was and am well versed in this matter. I was able to see for myself and listen to the old men talk about the n's that could not be trusted and who would run to the whites to give them any tidbit they could just to curry some favor as being a good n$#%@. The book made me see what was really there.

I will never have anything for a snitch but I do remember having a conversation with an elder black man one day about the movement and change. He told me that every one had a purpose and a way of doing it. And that God oversaw it all. He knew my anger at snitches and bobble head n's.

He told me that all blacks could not have been like Nat Turner or we would surely have been eliminated. He said that the blood of the Turners would be needed for the latter days. I did not like it much then when he said it, but as I grew older I saw it.

You mention that I have a problem with hatred. You are certainly correct. Hatred is not a healthy emotion unless tempered. You operate in anger, I want nothing to do with you. I don't need to be angry at my enemy to defeat or destroy him. In fact if I can get him to become ingrossed in hate and anger I have an advantage.

And angry mind does not think clearly or rationally and can be most easily led into a trap. I do understand anger and hatred my man. And I do not operate in them. I also have been trained to make quick decisions on the spur of the moment. Anger and emotions are after the situation has been dealt with for me abd.

the field hand and the house slave are not very pertinent in todays atmosphere.

The division between us have been set in stone. If our survival depended upon anyone but God we black people would be long lost. the black haves are not much different that the white haves and for the most part will not support any legitimate movement that will not pad their stock options, the educated are so highminded that they can not even dispense the knowledge that they have obtained to those who need it and for those of us down on the "low end", we are consumed with the cares of the world; poverty, joblessness, drugs, just living.

And we are all calling each other names because we don't understand.

I take solace but not comfort in knowing that the bible tells me that these things must happen because men have grown wicked more and more and wisdom has inceased. Will I stop and give up, heck no God forbids it.

Believe what you will abd, this has all been prophesized in the bible.

1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth
