Laziness is not refusing to read and accept your books that you confide in. It is simple being selective in your reading. Let me suggest that you read a book, by Smith Wigglesworth, any of them. Now in a few weeks if I find that you can not tell me anything the book promotes does it make you a lazy man?
Wigglesworth? Very Funny. I mean, surely you jest. I mean, you just gotta be joking. You have a much better sense of humor than I ever gave you credit for. Wigglesworth, indeed!

Look. All I asked you to do was "wiggle" our index finger on your mouse a little bit. Do a google search on the Five Pillars of Islam. Is that too much to ask? Go to this cite: Islam 101. What I call lazy is anyone who is too lazy to "wiggle" their index finger. Ignorant is anyone who knows nothing about 2.5 billion Muslims, 25% of the world's population.

And it is not my fault that you have not done a very indepth study of Nat Turner or Abe Lincoln. If you read the auto biography of Nat, you will see that his Christian faith was what kept him strong up to his death. Read it.
Give me an ever loving break! Everybody and his brother knows that Nat Turner was a Christian preacher. This does not mean that he was not inlfuenced by his Islamic/African heriatge.

And Lincoln used us for the sake of the war is all.
No do do? Well, what Lincoln did led to the end of slavery. He did it because brothers like Nat Turner and Tousaint L'ouverture were raising hell all over the slave states. Plus, all kinds of hell was going on in the Carribean and in Africa herself. Ever hear of Queen Nzinga? What about Samori Toure? What about Albert Cleage? By the time you get through reading these histories, I promise you that Wigglesworth and Whipplespoon and Hilary and all of the rest of them will be the last thing you have time to think about.

You mentioned that the verses you quote are taken from the internet. Mine come from the bible that is lying right atop my desk. I use it daily. You say the big difference is that you know what they mean...hmmmm I would rather say that you know more about what they don't mean or rather think you do. Abd the way the bible is set up
Set up? Now you on the right track. It is "set up". Set up to set us up.

is that nothing in it stands alone. The things you say that Paul is really saying should be readily found some place else. But it is not. You can not substantiate your claims. And you are too lazy to read and compare the entirity of Pauls writings but the rather try to discredit him with one or two verses taken out of context.
Yeah. Sort of like this:

Colossians 3:22. Slaves , in all things obey those who are your masters on earth , not with external service , as those who merely please men , but with sincerity of heart , fearing the Lord . (MyBST - Interactive Bible Study - Christianity.com)

Want me to put in context? Do you really know what the word "context" mean? Well, here is some "context":

Ephesians 6:5 NAS Slaves , be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh , with fear and trembling , in the sincerity of your heart , as to Christ.

Now, that is two separate verses from the Epistles of Paul. Do you need more "context" than that? This is not rocket science, although you probably do not understand what those words mean.

Oh and abd, also you made a statement that Nat did not go for the obey your slave master, well he did until he felt the time was to move. I have no problem with his valiant effort to fight his way to freedom and back home. His plan was brilliantly thougth out logistically. What he and Vessey did should have gone a long way toward telling white slavers that the soul of the African was not dead and that something should be done one way or the other. but...
No "buts". That is exactly what they did. In less than 50 years after Brother Nat did his thing, all USA slaves were emancipated. In fact, if memory serves me, Brother Nat rebelled in 1830's. The Civil War was in the 1860's. That is about 30 years.

....And the white women statement is really not at issue especially today. I have seen at least 6 black women/white men couples just today in this southern town. So we see as always sex trumps racism usually.
Really? Remember your reference to Brother Nat and his white women? Man. I started studying slavery a long time ago. One of the first things I learned about slavery was how white women always managed to find their way into a brother's bed. Nothing new about this. In fact there are a whole lot of African genes in the white population. The only time problems arose was when the children were too dark to fool Mr Charley. If Mr Charley himself had a touch of the ole tar brush on him, he would probably think all those little nappy headed brown skin chillens in his nursery were his own.

I was watching Uncle Henry Louis Gates on PBS last night. I was NOT surprised to learn that nearly all of the African slaves had European ancestry. Neither was I surprised to see that many of these slave descendants became free because their mothers were European. See, slavery is usually based on the children having the same rights as the mother. So, if the mother is a free white European woman, the children were free whether they were black or not. A lot of them were black.

sorry abd, I read Malcolm back in the 60s brother.
It would probably do you some good to read him in the 2008's. Read Malcolm at least as much as you read Saint Paul.
