Vezz - I wouldn't disagree Christie isn't asttue enough to play and manipulate the system but the time he was caught many people were using off the shelf products and coming up positive. As the article shows, for arguments sake you take a product that manipulates your system enough for it to cause a reaction similar to that of cocaine, is that as good as saying you have taken cocaine?
Linford had a rep for not even taking an aspirin at the same time being in the game I would not be surprised if used products to maintain a healthy fit system so where's there's enough room to give him the benefit of the doubt I'll give him as i don't believe he was on it in a premeditated way like Chambers. I guess my argument is if Linford was on it, who wasn't, what ever substance he was taking simply showed up more in him than it did others. Just like alcohol, everyone has a different threshold.
In the 100m, there are graceful sprinters and sprinters with explosive power, if the explosive runners are the suspect ones then for me Linford was in the middle. Won't go as far as saying this proves anything but if Linford was on anything, I don't believe he believed it to be an illegal substance.
