what does malcolm calling himself satan have to do with anything rational except to him and those who called him such? I can't see it. i had a dog i called satan once, any significance to that. i think not.
I don't necessarily think that growth, change and struggle is life but are rather portions of life.
but you are correct that i am not what i was at 10 thank God.
mike i can not go along with needing to measure good by the bad to appreciate life's good things. Don't see that mike, you will have to ricky ricardo ('splain) that to me.
wait a minute mike, no good without evil...that my brother is an absolute. to use ablsolute language one has to have a 'connection mike.
Ice cream is good mike, what evil do i have to conjure up to be able to appreciate it? leaping out of an airplane at 50,000 ft is good to some mike, what evil makes me appreciate it.
I do understand mike that we can take wellness forgranted until a bout with cancer or tb.
man and his use of knowledge has always been a problem mike. look at the where man was when the great hunter ran things from man's perspective?
The fruit of the tree of good and evil did nothing to Adam and Eve. It was only symbolic. The problem was that they realized that they could disobey God, they had freewill. We still do and things have gotten progressively worse (half empty).
Even the useful things that man has concocted has been used for the gain for a few in most cases. men have been taught to fear universal brotherhood (socialism).
the one you call satan has learned the art of dividing and conquoring to a tee. men can not see it. or maybe will not see it. they choose rather to use division against the universal brotherhood.
If folk who do not have anything to say would refrain from saying it, this would be a better world... J.V.McGee
