to each her own i reckon, we all grown and can do as we please. Personally I don't believe in all these gender double standards i think its bull crap, women are just as sexual as men are. BUT as the same time must not be dumbstruck to the games some men play, as long as both sides are reading the same page in terms of where the encounter is leading to and what is expected after then its all good.
Me myself am prone for waiting to get to know each other first, I personally think sex shouldnt just be random and casual FOR ME especialy if looking for something more meaningful then lust, but I have no problem with women who enjoy having sex and choose to go get it.
I'd be suprised to hear of a man who would wait around for a year, that fool would probably be fukking out on the side anyway.
I think alot of this rests on how you were raised, I was raised in a God fearing home so that has shaped me, but in todays world it hardly matters men and women are both sexually motivated, now if men and women were more honest we'd be getting somewhere
