When i listen to Radio 4, LBC i don't hear them including me unless it is to reinforce their own stereotypes.. Yet we have to INCLUDE whites strange!!!

Maybe because it is not meant to be a black show. I know I am probably a pessimist but if I want to listen to a black show; I will tune into a black radio station; I would like to support any attempt to challenge the BBC if only to make our point; but I have this arguement all the time with various people: we are asking a white organisation for permission to educate/entertiain/inform ourselves on radio - it is not in their interests so I dont think it will ever happen - particularly when you have mainstream black presenters who are willing to tow the line & at the end of the day, they have a mortgage to pay. All last year, Eddie Nestor was being treated for cancer; he had to take time off work, and I assume, was not getting paid; so his wife had to go find a new job to financially support him whilst he was off sick. (this is my own conclusion from reading his blog). Is is sad that in this day & age we have to set up & finance our own media to reflect what we want. I think the Asians have a different kind of realtionship with the white media....
