Default Traditional African Religions and customs - 08-03-08, 12:02 AM

Would be good to hear and read more into Traditional African Religions and customs, this room seems to be for Arabs, Christians and Kemetologists which is fine but it gets a bit boring, especially when we're talking about a continent the size of America, Europe and 3/4 of China combined... our topics seem limited for a continent of that size.

Does anyone care to share some information, folklore, customs and so on from the continent? C.African brothas and sistas don't seem to talk much about their cultures I've noticed, can only get so much from a book and I find most of them never seem to be as in depth as I'd like, the best I've read on Traditional African culture and religion so far is Credo Mutwas, ''Indaba my children'', very few out there like that.

Would be good if people could post links, information on scholars and their works on the subject etc, know that RasRuben has a lot of info on religions and customs from the continent, a few book recommendations would be good... heard that a lot of caucasian people have been traveling to Uganda to learn about customs there...?
