Not at all..what i am saying is simply this. If we are doing a BLACK show then let it be a BLACK show, not one that then encompasses all cultures.. in my observation of the status quo this does not happen with other cultures when they have THEIR shows.. Good example is that I remember a BLACK comedy show with Eddie Nestor, Leo Muhammed, Roobie Gee et al.. that was supposed to be a BLACK TV comedy show.. yet it regularly had Asians in it... Yet when Goodness Gracious me came out with some of the Asians that we the aforementioned show.. I cannot remember a single BLACK person in that show or the subsequent spin offs.. I can cite the Carnival where we are expected to exclude every god damn person in it.. yet St patricks Day, Eid, and does not have the SAME criteria.. THATS my point!!!
However what i agree with is that when you have BLACK employed by the Media, it is UNFAIR, just as it would be UNFAIR on you or I, if the expectation was that you or I were EXPECTED to only do BLACK work in those jobs.. that is unreasonable... therefore Dotun, Eddie Nestor etc if they are merely employed within a WHITE media cannot be EXPECTED to only do BLACK programming unless that was the remit of their job in the FIRST place..
However i would not have that opinion if a BLACK person was EMPLOYED by a BLACK radio Station, because obviously thats a different context non?
