I haven't actually commented on the central issue about whether this child should be sterilised as per the mother's wishes. I think that is something you can have a REAL view on only when you are in that mother's position. In her position I would probably say the same. But as an 'objective' free-thinking-liberal, I may well claim it is an abomination.....who knows?

The issue in the story is the reason why the mother wants to remove the childs womb; for fear of her being raped and as such being impregnated. Is this a good enough reason and what say you regarding my last post re: if this were a male child ?
