Yup, that's very true. I also think because of that, the ones of us who are not, or who prefer alternative beliefs are less inclined to let it be known.
Hence GM's reaction to hearing a black woman on t.v. admit to it. I don't think her surprise was in that the actress
was atheist, but rather that she openly admitted it.
