'You have something I want'

Say that to someone in the right setting and most would think it was a chat up line but in my opinion it is the root 'cause' of mixed race relations between caucasian and us African peoples, oppressor and the oppressed...

They look good spending money - obtained via the exploitation of my peoples.

They are well educated - with the advantage I have afforded them.

They make and have nice things - while not paying my people for having produced them.

They live in nice cities and countries - something that I would otherwise enjoy if it were not for the economic oppression of my country.

''I want what is mine'' Has become sexually charged whereas a person seeks a relationship with their oppressor in order to have make love to what is ultimately that that has been stolen from them... not the person themselves, it is the oppressed seeking to take back the goods and live a lifestyle would otherwise be theirs via a sexual relationship.

Easy to talk tough to type but that's my analysis. Its not an 'attack' on mixed race peoples or meant to be a typical debate on IR. Different angle, might sound obvious but its not its almost a reversal of what people would otherwise say is a one way, ill balanced relationship... the Black person not knowing him or her self having been miseducated to belive in what the causasian wrongly assumes of him or her self, if you get me.
