Me and my current girlfriend was discussing my parents relationship and i started telling her how my mother wanted to get married at city hall to avoid wasting money on a wedding and spend the money instead for a new home.

My girlfriend said majority of women would choose the new home but would really want and desire the big wedding(btw my girlfriend said the wedding)i disagreed with her, but i thought I'd get some other women take on it.
