I agree with BT. No appeal process is out of order, but as long as these kids follow the rules then it will not affect them. I think its best for the kids who want to learn that the bad seeds are weeded out asap. Whether the exclusions are race related is another matter, but seriously, some of our kids are disgusting and if it is in an area like Peckham, i'd expect most of those kids to be black. Parents need to start taking more control of their children instead of leaving it up to the school anyway, and more often it is only when their role in the home is questioned by something serious like a permanent excusion do they start to make the effort.
