Brother Muhammad has not indicated to me that he is a true Muslim who adheres to Islamic Traditions. For all I know, he is a fake Muslim. As a general rule, one cannot know if another is a MUslim or not until the two pray together. It is during prayer that every Muslim always affrims his Shahada. Thus, by praying together, we all know who is and whio is not a Muslim. Maids in modern America are not slaves or second class citenzens who have no rights. Why would you suppose that that was the case under GOD's Law? Clearly GOD has said Let my people go. So, it is not too far fatched to assume that a maid under Father Abraham and Sarah (Peace and Blessings be upon them both) was a servant without rights as you propose. To prove this, we need only read that one verse. In that verse, Mother Hagar (Peace and Blessings be upon her) is called wife. Thus, she has all of the legal rights of a wife. It is an outrageous lie that is repeated all too often by Christians that Mother Hagar was a servant, or a slave, or concubine when The Bible clearly says that she was a wife. Enven if she had been a slave or servant, under Islamic Law shge would still have certain GOD-giiven rigjhts that no man could take away.
