In an ideal world I guess most people would want both - I was never one for being the centre of attention in large crowds + didnt see the point of spending so much money on people relatives you rarely see; so we decided to spend the money we would have spent on a big wedding on a smaller wedding in JA, with close family & friends then travelling around Africa for a few weeks - where we got our marriage blessed - the bigger house came a couple yrs later...
