Default What Would B The Historic Forerunner Or Synonym Or Simple Term 4 The Word "politics. - 03-04-08, 02:15 AM

I think I have an idea but I'm just curious to see how quick someone will concurr, if someone does?
Some years back I was part of a group travelling on ferry to visited NATO and SHARPE [sic] headquarters. In coversation the facilitor of this public relations exercise told me she was studiyng politics at university and I asked her the very same question: what would be a simplistic term for politic where an ordinary layperson would understand ? She replied after about twenty seconds "social interaction," unfortunately for me someone had a light bulb moment and I was interupted. I would however have said," but thats term is longer and more sophisticated than the word politics itself ? Interstingly the word I have in mind is longer than the word politics but is probably older still. So back in cave mans time what practice would determine politics?
