Prove it.
What I actually think is that the notion of an Arab slavetrade is a fabrication to disminish the reality of the European slavetrade, thereby letting the real enemy off the hook. I do not deny that pre-Islamic Arabs held slaves. Not do I deny that pre-Islamic Africans held slaves. But, these facts in no way change the reality of the trans-Atlantic tradesaleve that impacted us here in America. The simple truth of the matter is that there is no other such example in history comparable to the crimes that were inflicted upon us during the trans-Atlantica slave trade. thus, we see no descendants of African slaves in any Arab or Muslim country. This is so obvious that it it slaps one in face. Of the slaves who were held in pre-Islamic Arabia, many were Asians and Europeans. Thus, they have all merged into larger Arabs socisty and culture without zany meaningful trace. At a minimum, this means that there was no "racial' discrimination associated with slavery in pre-Islamic Arabia and Africa. It makes no real sense to discuss a so-called Arab slavetrade. It can only be considered propaganda, a thinly disquised form of anti-Arabism/anti-Semetism.
