Quite a bit actually, but first may I say that yes, I agree with your line that knowledge is power. However, would you agree that applied knowledge is powerFULL, more effective and should effect change? Or would you like to discuss this some other time?

So then mike pain, I note your interest. One of the first things that I would like to do is establish roughly how many Black people actually play chess and have an interest in promoting the game. Forming a proper committee structure is one way to proceed. Although it only takes one enthusiastic, passionate individual to get things moving, I don't really want to do this on my own, but I will if I have to.

I have been teaching children how to play for two years and it is very rewarding. There are many educational and social benefits to learning and playing Chess and I really want to see and have more Black children playing and competing in tournaments. So I want to establish and develop more Chess clubs and more Chess teams, locally and nationally. May I ask if you are in London by any chance?

This needs to be done properly and legally. Public funds may be applied for and individuals must be CRB checked. Public liability insurance will be in place and premises may be considered.

Might you still be interested mike pain? Did you have any ideas and suggestions to add?

I await your reply!
