This is what we African people must drum into our heads - "When organisations and institutions disrespect us like this. DON'T LET THEM HAVE OUR DAMN MONEY/BUSINESS!"

There is no question that BA is not going to see my name on ANY of their passenger lists. In fact they lost my business long time ago and I can't see them getting it back anytime soon.

Sure, on an individual basis some of us may have a great flight experience and be really pleased with the service and comfort etc. we receive on BA flights. But at the end of the day we have an organisation which seems to operate on the ethos which says "African people don't matter, and so what if we mistreat a few, we still get enough business from them dumb-ass n*****s anyway."

Look I don't ask for, or expect (white) people to love me or be breaking their necks to get to live next door to me. But I damn well exoect to be treated with the respect and civility due any human being. Where organisations like BA find this too big an ask, they must understand that their disdain has consequences. One of those consequences is that they don't get a penny of my money.

Believe me, when enough of us take that same attitude you will see a change in theirs. Let us not suffer the anguish of the battered wife who feels she has to stay and suffer the abuse of her no good husband, because she wonders "where else am I to go?" I would rather not fly than to fly with an organisation who treats me less than dirt.
