I disagree. It reminds me of what the Chinese did to women who had more than one kid in their country. I've also have read horror stories taken place where women--Black women more specifically, where forcefully sterilized without their knowledge( happended to Black women in the early years and as recently in the 1980's in North Carolina. It's cruel and in humane. On top it, not all single mothers are stereotypical "baby mamas". I came from a single parent back ground. My mother struggled to the point where my brother had to care for my sister and I --at 12 years old--, while my mother had to work, while my father decided that he had no need for hid family. She didn't ask to be single, it just happened. My mother had to get a hysterectomy because of a fibroid tumor, but if she had a chance to keep her reproductive organs and was able to have children, I would NEVER , EVER want her to be sterilized! She's a human being, not and experimental lab rat. I will guarantee that if this proposal was to come out, Black women will be victimized by it and I have the strangest feeling that they would do it to women who aren't the welchers like so many of them were in NC.
