Some areas of the country have been over run by Poles, making up to a quarter of the population. If anyone works on a building site they will have seen the amount of Polish builders through out the land.

Perhaps if you state what it is exactly you're concerned about, some of us may be persuaded to share your concern:
Is it the building site jobs?
public services?
Housing?
That they'll have the whip hand over the "English"
That they'll change the character and nature of Blighty beyond all recognition?
The crime rate?
