Well, my take on it is that WRight POSSIBLY does not think Obama necessarily intends to make the Black struggle prominent as Prez, especially since he can't even acknowledge some of the more basic truths about race in this country, or some of the behaviors that this country has behaved in, things that are not even up for discussion or debate, but are documentable.

Gmahogany....I need to premise this by telling that I am a former member of the AAPRP... therefore as a person who believes in scientific Socialism... Even I would have to state from the get go that if any BLACK person thinks or ASSumes that a BLACK person gaining high office in American could or would be allowed to prosecute a BLACK agenda of any kind not only are they seriously STUPID.. they need to be locked up in the mad house suffeting from delusion ideations....NOT GOING TO HAPPEN...History tells us that Mandela a leader of a AFRICAN country could not prosecute a BLACK agenda...so i'm damn clear Obama aint gonna be able to do that in a WHITE country...

This is where people get confused and forget themselves, as i said before we are born and living behind enemy lines..and history tells me that unless you can defend any institution from ALL forms of attack..then you it aint worth building in the WEST...the idealogy i was imbued with instructs that if we want to build a strong African we build towards a strong Africa.. NOt a strong America.. So for me I aint looking to Obama to build nothing in America..that is NOT why I want him to win,... I want him to win because i think his presence will send out a strong symbolic message to the mindset of ALL Africans worldwide.. so lets get a grip and not be putting the cart before the horse shall we.. this is the long game I'm talking 'bout not some pickney business!!!

The fact that WRight was going along with the program initally, makes me think that something happened in the year and 3 months interim, that made him feel less REASON to continue going along and LESS reason to feel that Obama was really going to be any different than any other candidate/President, thus the comments about him being a typical politician. Prior to that race speech, WRight was giving SEARING critiques of HIllary Clinton AND Bill Clinton(who he at one time was ALSO casually supportive of , since we wanna act like he doesn't have the right to change his opinion on folks or like he doesn't have a track record of supporting folks then criticizing them something awful,lol) in the pulpit and basically endorsing Obama from the pulpit, eventhough churches are not supposed to endorse candidates if they want to keep their tax exempt status.I submit it was the marginalizing of him and his views as crazy/delusional/bitter/angry/old, in that race speech that made him "cool" on Obama.

Again in my opinion you are MAKING my point emphatically..Wright aint in this for 'liberation' he is in this for himself and his EGO..and what annoys me is yet again we have yet another EGOTISCAL LDR...putting himself BEFORE his idealogy.. How can this man chat fart about America, aids, and the complexities of races..and NOT understand the poltical game, and how his behaviour is being used to not only damage Obama.. but also now to damage the BLACK Church, whicvh is being cast as some hate filled sect or cult... Again when Kwame Nkrumah talks about revolutionary warfare, i'm damn sure he never talked about chatting you business for all and sundry to hear, or to allow you opponents to use YOU as a pawn to destroy the Movement.. Does Wright NOT study his own AMERICAN civil rights history.. did they NOT do this with the Panthers, Did they NOT do this with Marcus Garvey...?

History is clear they used Du bios via NAACP to first ATTACK and then undermine Garvey's plan to unify Africa, the Carribean and America..didn't they.. Garvey fell into the trap and went for Du bios and Du bios in turn went for Garvey and they didn't hold back did they... and the end result was what exactly the distruction of the UNIA THe most powerful BLACK movement EVER.. and when all send and done Du bios left the NAACP after he realise he had been had didn't he and then adopted Garveys idealogy..

Yet here we are less than a century later and we have a so called theologian repeating history as if he was raised ignorant and wearing a blindfold and earmuffs.. Wright is a joker...Tell the truth is great when it help us or has an end product.. but whatwright did went beyond telling the 'truth' it was bloody stupid by any yardstick..and proves where his head is at..'up his arse'!!



Farrakhan, Sharpton to a lesser extent and Black folks who have a nationalistic orientation in general, are rendering themselves and their worldview null and void and irrelevant by so blindly and completely supporting Obama. If ya'll don't think that that was/is the intent and purpose behind white support of a candidate like Obama,(that is to say to PROVE that race is no longer relevant), you haven't been paying attention for the past oh ....500 years......I sincerely hope what ya'll get out of the deal is worth that. Oddly enough, you saw some evidence of that in the Sean Bell verdict. Sharpton(and some regular rank and file Black folks) who initially wanted to call for a much more radical Black response, had to temper that when Obama basically came out with a predictably TEPID(this wasn't really about race) response. Sharpton's on Obama's dick, so he's boxed himself into a corner now,lol. THere will be more where that came from. MARK MY WORDS.

Now i'm going to go of track here, but to be honest i don't really want to keep hearing this race issue and people pointing to incident like sean bell... Yes it was well out of order, and yes those cops got away with murder.. Yea i know you aint gonna like my next comment, but the uncomfortable truth is that we BLACKS in the USA and UK have been it fashionable to kill Blacks.. and in effect devalued a black life by allowing it to be taken so cheaply...

I have to agree with the critic of the right wing when they question people like sharpton marching for these types of death, but are annonymous when it comes to the countless homicides up and down the country.. For its a contradiction.. it is also a contradiction for people to keep looking to a single person to articulate RACE issues when they themselves do nothing... yes Obama's message may have tepid.. but compared to the jokers currently in the Whitehouse at least he said something.. we have a BLACK woman in the Whitehouse denying Katrina and Denying that Bush was racist..when we all know he was.. come on now give the man his Jacket!! Last time I looked the man never said he was a PAN AFRICANIST.. running on a Pan Africanist, Afrocentric or Liberation ticket... He has been honest he is a democrat [WHITE Political party] running for TOP office.. I expect him to do what it says on the tin be a democrat FIRST!!!
