History is clear they used Du bios via NAACP to first ATTACK and then undermine Garvey's plan to unify Africa, the Carribean and America..didn't they.. Garvey fell into the trap and went for Du bios and Du bios in turn went for Garvey and they didn't hold back did they... and the end result was what exactly the distruction of the UNIA THe most powerful BLACK movement EVER.. and when all send and done Du bios left the NAACP after he realise he had been had didn't he and then adopted Garveys idealogy..

A pastor's job is not to COSIGN the political ambitions of political candidates, particularly when he feels that that candidate is not doing what is in line with what is true and right. King criticized Johnson after all that Johnson did in the way of Civil Rights legislation because King thought he was wrong on the WAR. THAT is what a religous leader is supposed to do, NOT crawl up someone's ass for political expediency. They are supposed to be answering to a higher calling.
