True, but we're not talking about getting drunk or raving every week, or even stealing, we're talking about murderers.
I did loads of things my parents wouldn't approve of, but things like shoplifting never happened because of the thought of my parents finding out. Not only the beats I would get, but the disappointment they would feel.
Parents should at least have psychological control over their kids up to a certain age. When you hear about kids aged 13 getting charged with murder you wonder how their parents lost control so quickly, what have they been doing?
