There is no such thing as black british culture.

There is white british culture, which some black people over here foolishly choose to follow, or there is African caribbean culture which, being our heritage, most of us adhere to, leaning more towards the African or Caribbean side depending on where your parents/grandparents were born.

We have our own hip hop, grime. soca, pop and soul music which I love. We have our own actors, sportsmen, we have our own schools etc have you heard of google?

Way way back in the day 1st or 2nd generation Africans and Caribbeans used to have beef, but not anymore. As far as I have witnessed this has gladly turned into friendly rivalry. In London there are oft African vs Caribbean dances. No beef, all fun. One of the best events I've been to was the Jamaica vs Ghana football match a couple of years ago.

The main problem we have in the UK is self-hate, like there is among our people people worldwide - guns, drugs, interacial dating, western beauty standards, these things drag down our people everywhere, no matter what continent.

Apart from that, and obviously the racism from the whites which will only stop when we leave, we live good in the UK.

I'd say black people born in the UK are brought up with more of a connection to their heritage in Africa or the Caribbean. Unlike the Americans. A lot of Caribbeans in the UK also recognise their African roots and will never consider themselves British.
