Even if she didnt mean what she said consciously, i think at least we saw an example of her subconscious at work. Either way it smells of desperation and wishful thinking on her part.
It was such a huge, hurtful, damaging, insensitive, naive and unintelligent error that its obvious she can't think on her feet or deliver an appropriate apology either. She sounds perfect for the Presidency of the United States.
