I read this yesterday, and as I know many of us who are parents probably at one time or another have to work and thereby leave our children at Breakfast clubs and after school clubs in order to work.. Eventually I found them in an After school club an hour later and then having the shame of having to explain how i had misplaced them?

But seriously tho... if you don't work you get cuss for being wotless and a sponger.. if you work you get cuss for being a bad parent... As not many jobs pay good money working part time.. I thought this article was a bit harsh!!
This is the type of thing that makes me say that the west is anti family. To say that parents are dumping their children off to go to work is like saying they want to be doing that. It's more likely that these parents are working because they have to. If it was possible to earn enough to live of comfortably at least on less income then I'm sure more people would opt for part time or consider self employment. Of course given the chance we would raise our children ourselves but that's not always practical.

The good thing at least is that there are these kind of provisions to cater for the children until the parents can find easier ways to support themselves and live to work instead of work to live.

I wonder what would happen if they did get to pay parents to stay at home.
