whenever somebody asked me about the election i said 'obama' and people had a barrage of questions for me. i explained that we as blk people need to stop looking at him as our saviour as a 'blk president' and just look at him as 'president' sometimes we are our worst enemy. yes he could get flak if sh*t hits the fan, but then isnt that part of the job? he has/is making history and we should be supporting him, there was a time when blk people couldnt even vote let alone run for president.

imagine the stick he had probably encountered because of the colour of his skin and then on top of that we put even more pressure on him to 'represent' us. he can't do that.

i was always confident that he would go far but he will not be president unfortunately because of his race. it is too much for YT america. however i am happy that he has got that far and it does give hope that one day it might just happen.
