Geoff Schumann to head Life FM Breakfast Radio

Community radio Life FM has signed community presenter Geoff Schumann to host its breakfast show from 30 June 2008.

The renowned comedian and radio presenter Geoff Schumann is best known for his ground breaking Schumann shuffle show on the station Choice FM. This was before it’s was sold out to Capital and now the owners of the anti-African LBC station, thereby severing all grass root community links and becoming one of Britain’s most influential promoter of the urban culture blighting the aspirations and lives of young people in the African community.

Geoff’s show was well respected for seeking to address the heart of issues faced by the African community and encouraging robust honest debate with guests and contributions from grass root organisations and members of the public.

Authentic, progressive community orientated radio

Life FM which started in 2002 was awarded a community radio licence in March 2006 making it Brent’s first full time community radio station.

The station which already hosts the successful “Business of Music” programme hosted by Kwaku from the BMC can be picked up in London on 103.6 FM or online. It joins the popular Colourful, Galaxy and Voice of Africa Radio as an authentic, progressive community orientated broadcasters
