This is a good point. I'm gratefull that my parents came over because if they did,nt i would,nt be here now,but then again my parents generation are of that colonialised mindset ,my dad thinks the uk is the best country in the world ,my mom well she,s just confused .Personally i tend to think that nothing has changed now that its like 2 or 3 generations later ,black folks that were born in the uk still have no sense of identity.
