I do not think for one minute that this has changed over the generations...This is part and parcel of Teenagers Life......you would never ever know everything teenagers get up to my folks didn't but they trusted me to make the right decisions...the key is knowing what friends your teenage son or daughters keep .......get to know them especially their background even go as far as meeting their parents...this would serve as a good indication of what or who your offspring might be associating with[/quote]

I agree. Parents will always be unsure to a degree what their children are doing out of sight. One thing I do know though is you spend too much time on the road with no constructive reason more often than not you will end up in some form of bandooloo. regardless how their friends appear to be. My bredrens son is up for robbery/ he goes college/ had a part time job/ didnt live in a "ghetto".. but still end up running with boys who were robbing. The more I think about it the more useless it is making comparisons with youth from former years. Then and now youths get up to the same things.. the same rubbish fights over stupidness. Only thing thats changed is a large proportion seemingly are willing to kill over the same reasons. That the real and only change for me.
