hmmmmmm....then Kunjufu, why make the statement? As a person who grew up in a one unit/lone parent/ single famliy (call it what u like) it makes my blood boil to read and hear sweeping statments about the above.

This has nothing to do with the ghetto or single parent families. Good black people come out of the ghetto and one-parent families.

It has more to do with social deprivation, lack of respect, poor education and the glamorization of the 'ghetto', made famous by music videos/some black films and those at the top of the game, i.e rap stars.
