I agreed with a lot of what the lady said however the point I agreed with the most was her assertion that those Africans who would lose out the most if aid were to be withdrawn from Africa would be the elites who 'run' the country who would lose the main source of income for their Swiss bank accounts.

I remember reading somewhere that more money is sent back to Africa from African expats living abroad than any foreign aid...but that isn't information you'll easily come across in the mainstream media.
