Nic pics! Looks like a great place to visit. How was it? - Has Cambodia picked itself up from the poverty we were made aware of some years ago? The two little kiddies peeping behind the column smiling are so cute. Did you have a bath in the Mekong River?

Camile: yes I did gofor swim in the Mekong,
those two boys were following because they had never seen
a black man before (strange innit), and finally Cambodia is a fantastic place and is
a developing nation raising fast in my view.
I think people would be surprised at the standards there
most it would put us to shame in the UK..
My advice go and visit and tek an empty bag for all the stuff you'll bring back.

Kunjufu,
As stated these are stunning pics. What made you pick Cambodia as a destination? Was in pre-planned or spur of the moment? Did you route thru Malaysia or Singapore to get there?

Burning Spear: I choose Cambodia because I had a friend living out there,
and I had been planning for over 4 years to go, so I just upped and went.
I flew to Bangkok, and then onto Phnom penh, but you can go through Singapore too.

Beautiful pics, K, I was particularly taken by the ones of the Temple held together by the tree.....man and nature working together and all that....
wow...what an adventure you had! welcome home... (and sure some chick jumped into the river after you to sell you her "wares"!! LOL)
welcome home K - bet nothing is as beautiful as the BN village!
