I watched the series American Gangster; I acknowledge the roles black people have played in the drugs infestation of the 70' 80 ' 90' and today in the year 2000 in the black communities. The destruction of a black civilization we can not blame on everyone other than ourselves...
Yet it has always been known. Black man does not own the planes or any shipping companies that export the drugs into this country and in to the ghetto. (I have also wondered what Bio chemical engineer developed Crack) Black men have no way of bringing and distributing drugs or the purchase of high powered fire arms.
Yet Denzel’s has decided to play the role of an African American so called gangster who control the drugs and had the mob in fear. He went to Vietnam and personal flew drugs back into the US.
When he was busted he was suppose to have a net worth of 250 million dollar in offshore accounts.
I would like to say when Malcolm X traveled to Mecca the CIA watched his every move. Martin l King was followed and taped.. Yet this man was so amazing he was about the government.
Why does the movie call it a true story yet it is right up there with some top rated fiction.
