You will get cheaper deals @ travel agency.

Why not stay the night...a day trip is a bit of an hike and what if you miss a connection?!

Checkout the travel link on the home page

If we do not have an accurate analysis of the problem, we cannot possibly develop a good strategy to resolve it.

check the sun. They often have thisspecial offers. They will allow you to go for just £1. I don't know when next they are doing it, check the sun.

Also check P&O, the do deals for £10. Just research.

@lady my girl friends and i are going to Paris next Saturday. Bought euro star return tickets for £69 each, mind you that was about 2 months ago... I think it’s very reasonable for bank holiday...

I wouldn't fly to Paris if i were you, too much unnecessary hassle… i flew in to Charles de Gaulle airport last time, couldn’t get a taxi driver who spoke English and you can tell they were pretending so that if you get in to a taxi with out agreeing price… when you reach destination they will charge whatever they want and you have no option but to pay…

Of course you can take bus 350 to Gare de l'Est and then catch bus 30 to Eiffel Tower etc… the road is good and the busses are reliable but still take over an hour to reach Central Paris… which is too much stress for one day trip.

Last time we did that we missed our plane and had to stay at a hotel near the airport which cost £120 each for a night.

LadyDay

If you are going to Parris then its all about the Eurostar. Why?because it goes straight to the middle of Parris.

With a plane, you need to pay for transport from the airport to the city, with the train you are right there. A coach takes too long, and even if you get ferry then you still need to get from the coast to the city which takes long.

Eurostar is the only way to go if you are spending ONE day there. That way you get more time to do stuff out there.

Good advice DM... it's definitely not worth flying to Paris youwaste 2+ hours on road to and from Central Paris to air port... and also Paris is one hour a head so that's another hour lost.. Nah too much stress... better wait until you can find a resonable deal with euro star.

Having said that it would be cool to drive to Paris, as a passanger of course
