... any / all of: firm, persistant, powerful, resolute, steadfast, strong, stubbornness.

The Pan African Congress Movement (London / Birmingham / Manchester) may be involved in providing Swahili classes (or might have been in the past).

what does the name KANYE mean?

the only reason why i ask is because i am getting conflicting info
in an essence magazine his mum says it means 'the only one' however my friends who is from Tanzania told me that it means 'i need a poo' or something similar.

Well if it came down between believing a native Tazanian and a Black American that doesn't speak a word of it, I'd take the Tazanians' translation any day!

I've seen quite a few AA people that have picked out foreign names for their children and don't realize that a lot of times the word/name they choose is pronounced much differently than how its written. The way they pronounce it (of course using the English language) is probably wrong anyway, and sometimes they are saying a completley DIFFERENT word altogether.

I suggest that you contact them.
