.lol.
Cats hate citrus stuff, throw some lemon juice about the place in the summer and they'll steer well clear, orange peel in places they like to sit works as well. Best way though is this statue thing I've seen, its got glowing eyes, like a scarecat rather than a scarecrow you can either get one of those or you can get one of those high pitch things you plug in... sends a high pitched sound over our (human) hearing and irritates cats and other small animals.
Spray away, motion activated animal scarer, scares herons, scares dogs, scares cats, scares foxes, scares squirrels, scares deer. Use our Spray Away deterrent to repel and get rid of cats, dogs, foxes or other animals and deter these pests from comin

Catnip is the equivalent of a class C drug to cats. It sends them into a state of euphoria. Go to your local pet shop or supermarket, the pets section and buy something called GET OFF my garden by Vapet. It is a cat and dog Repellent. It discourages cats and dogs from fouling lawns and gardens. It costs about £4.99. Alternatively, try out your local pound land. I saw the same thing I bought for nearly £5.00 for £1 though the bottle is slightly smaller, two would make up the same size I bought. If you want to go green make a spray of lemon juice, chilli pepper and water. Or buy citonella essential oil and dilute and spray.

Puss free days gone!! -

LadyDay
There is only one 100% guaranteed method of "cat free zone" that I know of and can testify to - alas, we live in a time of pure PC-ism and Health & Safety-shism that is no longer available to the public.
I remember a particular summer when I was a young girl (white socks and ribbons stage) Mamma was very particular about her vegetable patch (we were well and truly warned!!). Anyways, the stray cats were getting on Mamma's last nerve. Hence our trip to the zoo. We came back laden with LION dodo!!!
Gurl, truss me, no ANIMAL whatsoever did enter fi we garden dat summer. Bird did barely fly cross it haha. And yes, we did have a bumper crop
There is one pretender product called ROAR on market - expensive waste of time imo, failing all the above, may I suggest you find two rumbuncious lil boys and couple slingshots, then late nature take its course
Peace
