On the subject of Romance. I believe a man or woman needs to have a good imagination to be romantic. On my experience of these things its usually the men who dont have much money who are the most romantic. I think this is because they use their Imagination more. Romance, to me, is what stirs the heart and the spirit. I see Romance in many different things. Its not something we just Do for a member of the opposite sex we happen to be attracted to. If I invite a friend for dinner, I will create the right atmosphere for him/her, one that is pleasing to the senses. The lighting must be right, the smell of the room, sensuous. The music must be...just so, and the food as pleasing on the eye as the tastebuds. All these things titillate the five senses, and bring out the best in whoever company I;m in.

A perfect date does not have to be anything expensive or impressive. I have had some great times sitting on the beach on a summer evening with a bottle of champagne and a disposable barbecue. Wise men know how delightful it can be for a woman knowing he has Really thought about creating a good evening. Flowers, chocolates, expensive restaurants are ok but very predictable.

Romance is Everywhere. I have felt incredibly romantic on my own, watching the sea or sitting on the hills watching a thunderstorm over the sea. I have felt my heart stir watching someone else being romantic. Last summer looking out my Living room window, I saw a young Italian student take his girlfriend in his arms and kiss her passionately. It melted my heart. When we had the heatwave, sitting outside my house reading a book. A very old man from across the road hobbled over and gave me a rose he had picked from his garden. Bless!

Passion is either within you or not. A passionate person will be passionate about many things. It doesn;t start and end with sex. A passionate person will usually be uniquely romantic, because they Feel things so intensely.

Once upon a time I knew a very passionate Italian guy. He believed he Loved me, but I didn;t reciprocate his affection. But he did the most Romantic thing that I never forgot. He was a musician, and back home in Italy he had his own recording studio. One night while he was in England I wrote a poem he loved. When he went back to Italy, out of the blue he sent me a tape of my poem that he had recorded for me as a song. It was Beautiful.

The world needs Romantic people, cos they teach others how to do it well, so it gets passed on. blkkiss

I tell you to lie back down and just...relax. So face down, heart beating with anticipation you do as I ask.
