I just though i would put this out there!!!!is it me ? or is something wrong with our black men, its seems the majority of them seems to like any type of woman as long as "she dosnt look like their mother" ie BLACK maybe thats why there a serious epedemic of the "single black female".
i am encountering women of all ages and sizes who are single, is this because we would rather stay true to our "brothers" and in doing so spend our time being overlooked and bypassed for a "mixed race" cypriot" asian"or chinese woman???.
It amazes me because you dont seem to see a lot of chinese, indian,or cypriot guys with us!!!! and if they do decide to dabble they ultimatley revert back to there own, unlike SOME of our me who once have made the choices of the above have removed themselves from our community and become a token black "thus" disrespecting other black women and giving us varous lables,its not a wonder our race is dying.
Maybe someone can holla back with some kind of feedback.

what i mean when i say our race is dying, is the dilution of the colur black,its a little bit like ART!!! if you mix various colours with black paint them it is no longer black,and you will never be able to make it black again.

rest assured we dont need to go anywhere, notice how many peole are coming over here from the west indies,and because theyve been surrounded by black in there own countries,non blacks dont intrest them,then our english blackmen wonder why so many women stray towards these newcomers!!!!!

I am trying to assess if you have posed something worthy of debate (from my personal perspective that is) or if this is just another 'lets-say-something-provocative-for-yet-another-blackman/whitewomen-debate.

Soulsistayou areright, without wanting this to turn into a male/female bashing thread I understand completely whatyou are saying.

Once upon a time you would very rarely see a black man with awhite woman in my neck of the woods, now itis commonplace. I know so manybeautiful,hardworking, educated, conscious black female who are single. Why? it would seem that these women are being overlooked for the white females.

I would really love to know the true reason why black men are now chosing white females. Would someone please giveus black womenan honest response. No dissing, just a completely honest response.

I am fortunate, because I am in an established relationship, but I have a two year old daughter, and If things continue to remain the way they are (or in fact get worse) willshe de destined to the life of a single woman just because of her colour? Will she be overlooked by her own black men and forced to date outside of her race in order to find a partner?It is something that I need to consider, I'm teaching my baby to love and respect herself and her race,I will be deeply saddendedif she goes on to chose a white partner just because her own race do not want her!

In understand your point about the black community not supporting it each other but isn't that because of the jelousy and the haterz. Take a look at the asians they will live in a two bedroom house and send for someone from home who will inturn work buy there own house and continue the tradition its called UNITY,something we know about but dont practice do you know how many people we would put out of business were we unified? please !!! but were too busy watching what another man has instead of supporting them.I dont know whats going to bring about change but it needs to happen soon,check all the grocery shops (INDIAN)hair products(INDIAN) and when you do find a westindian food shop it cost more than the asisans, not because hes greedy but he knows his people will not support him and he needs to cover his costs, this is where the asians have the HANDLE and we have the BLADE, saftey in numbers.

You see this is the kind of silly response that I am not looking for. You have missed the whole point. Of course you are not duty bound to date within your race, I don't believe that was what I, or soulsista were saying.

Alot of black men hate to see black women with non- blacks, why? Because it is taken personally. In the same way when black women see a black guy dating elsewhere, she feels personally affronted. So yes, in response to your question it does mean that he is dissing the black female when he chooses non blacks.He haspassed her and her black sistas byfor a particular reason,a reason alot of black men can never be honest about. There are alot of guys that are serial non-black daters. They spout alot of hot air about how black women are this, that and the other, but they never really give an honest response as to why they choose to date elsewhere.
