Cool but dangerous. Some guys at work did the same experiment as well as the Mentos at work in the parking lotback in Julywhen no one was watching. Also put liquid Nitrogen in a coke bottle, cap it and then take cover. Shi*t will explode. Or take a banana dip it in liquid nitrogen and use a spatula to get it out. Throw the banana on the ground and it will shutter like glass. I was watching from a distance trying not to get involved but curious at the same time. But either way be carefull or there is possibility of serious bodilyinjury even with the coke and mentos not to mention lose of property.

smoking-devil
How about upgrading it with a larger bottle... you know. One of those office type canisters full of coke and with the right amount of mentos....? There'd be a problem with the lid, you'd have to make one somehow but.... the smoking-devilfactor would be worth it.
Please video it if you can, doubt I'll get the chance to do this one.
There should be a thread/website about stuff you can do with standard products and fireworks.

May as well tape some fireworks together and have fun with that really but you could make wings for the bottles so they fly better...

my gosh, seeing this post so late and in the mens forum, but you know, just being nosey,
you stood back and watched, lol, one of the one the sides lol
the water one looks not very interesting, but i know these rockets or bombs as we called them back in the day work with polos and sprite,
the best one was the cans shaking them up and throwing them down they would spiral oout of control and evey one watching would get drenched, its a good way of teaching lessons about waching others do stupid things.

They're mints, coated on the outside but kinda fizzy on the inside.
