shemsi: it's london slang for 'ugly'
i think he's okay - wouldnt call him ugly, not in this pic anyway. i think he's average and i'd give him a 5/10 with or without the hairstyle.

Plastic ones, moms got one of those odd twisty tooth combs perfect really.
I don't know what that was.
Plastic. Guessing Metal ones like STs wouldn't be good huh? Shame really, they sound kinda cool. My dad had one of thoseRed Green and Black Afro bombs with the dividing handle to protect the tooths.

I remember this comb!
Stuck while I was lifting it upwards breaking the end and middle tooths. It was 30 years old... took me a while to find the bits
Hahaha! (sorry, but that was funny).
All natural! I've been going all green recently eating healthy and sticking to natural products. That's good. Water is very important too.Its sad I know
Why sad?confused3
What are dreads exactly? How do they stay together?I think the term is ''budding''-look it up.
Just thinking, I've got a wolly jumper I like to smoke weed in at night and after a few nights of smoking the jumper dosen't smell too good. That must be the same with dreads... how can you wash them and how do they stay as dreads? Are they waxed or something?
Our hair can be cleaned and smell so fresh and so clean too-loced or otherwise. Obviously if you continously smoke weed, it will just keep stinking of weed everytime you smoke (loced or otherwise). You're probably better off washing your hair after you've smoked
I don't have locs, but there are people on this site that do, so you're better off asking them about the maintenance and/or visit loc websites.

I don't know what that was.
Its well cool trust me, who ever invented it should get a nobel prize. The tooths are twisted at the end so it undoes some of the curls while it goes through. Can't find any pics of it.
I remember this comb!
Its a classic. Pan African colours as well, it was well old. Shame it couldn't do the job it was meant to.
Why sad?confused3
I've always been weary about what food I eat but for some reason it feels a bit lame being so picky (no pun intended). I've only just decided to take it seriously and eating a bowl of greens makes me feel like a rabbit when I'm supposed to be a lion.
Might cut down on the meat and only eat fish.

Only one a night, don't smoke like I used to. Decided to let it grow and have dreads, saw this book;

Gonna check it out and see if I can find a style of dread that suits me. Seems like an intresting book.

I wonder why anyone didn't tell Lion that if he decides to get gel twists, don't leave them in too long unless you want them to lock up. As for your hair, the easiest way to help keep hair managable is by mosturising as much as possible.Make sure the shampoo and conditioner you may use doesn't strip your hair of essential oils.
Also, know that if you do decide to go the way of the locs, maintain it well, the ladies won't feel a fuzzy lock looking head. Depending on your hair grow cycle, if it is somewhat average or above, once you loc up your hair will seem to grow faster, but that is because ofgreatly reducedhair loss....not to forget that locs sometimes do fall out, but just start a new one!

Errmm are you speaking for us now?confused3
I find Buju Banton to be one of the finest men that ever lived and he has free form locs. For me it's all about what suits you (though I draw the line at relaxers, pressers, curlers...basically anything I deem extravagant and feminine).
