The amount of sh*tty stigma's that single mothers have to put up with is unbelievable.
Not sure about that.... while I think single mothers have a harder life, I think single father's have the worst stigmas. No matter what they do they're seen as dead beats.
|
Single fathers get a lot of praise if they even so much as show interest in their children. Men do not get labelled asdeadbeats lightly. For a man to get that name he must really be letting his children down badly.
LOL, you actually believe that? LOL!!!
btw... like I said earlier... we should stop having kids and let the human race die out.

Needs to be discussed, I think...at least with an understanding that many men think this way and that it isn't fair to the women. This is what dialogue is about.
|
LOL you always try to put a little spin on a topic when you're being called on it.

You said it more nicely than I would have, but I second that..... I dont have any kids yet but I would HATE to be stereotyped like that. 2 fingers up to the true author and his followers.

Well, what would you expect? The child needs to come first; accept that or move on.

Needs to be discussed!.....Needs to be discussed!
What, this stupid inflammatory bile of a list needs to be discussed?
You can't be serious surely?
By the way the last bit about "at least with an understanding that many men think this way and that it isn't fair to the women. This is what dialogue is about" is a feeble attempt at putting some kind of 'stamp of justification' on something you should have read, kiss your teeth at, and left on the Under 13's website you found it on.
Sure, by all means discuss - in a mature, constructive and sensible fashion - the issue of broken relationships/homes; kids being brought up without the proper balance of male (father) and female (mother) input and the 'potential' social issues arising therefrom; discuss why many of us (men and women) seem more locked into 'having a good time by doing a 'ting' at every given opportunity without a thought of the ramifications of easy-come-easy-go behaviour which canlead to the 'creation of life'; discuss why many men think it's a sign of manhood to be able to bag as much p**sy as physically possible in a given day with little thought of the consequences.
Discuss any or all of these critical issues that areimportant to thestructure and fabric of our communities our society, our world even - yeah I am up for that.
BUT DISCUSS THIS FOOLISH NOT-EVEN-FIT-FOR-THE-SUN-NEWSPAPER-JUVENILE-CRAP?
YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS!
Respect
There are those who feel that the only way to ‘prove their own worth’ is by ‘devaluing the worth of others’. You will often find that a man who is compelled to measure his substance against the substance of another, has little of substance in the first place!

LOL 'Illigitimacy' as you call it has been here for thousands of years way before and all through the 60's and 70's in all communities. Jesus himself was born before his parents were married, Joseph almost didn't marry Mary. Sailors, soldiers, merchants left children all over the globe and this continues today. I'm not justifying it but you shouldn't fall for the perception of black people being the face if children born to unmarried parents. Nothing new under the sun and it's not some new phenomenon.

ITs been here no doubt, but not nearly a fracton of what it is now, especially among Blacks. Btw, you comment on the St. Mary and St Joseph is completelt false, reread the Biblical Book of Matthew and the the Immaculate Conception.

Oh fckin' please, people.
Of course this is the thanks (and I use the word loosley) that single mothers get. Of course single mothers have to deal with these stigmas.
Women have the option to have sex and (consequentially) have children. The man whose child a woman bears does not suddenly become a dickhead after he finds out he is to become a father. He was worthless before the fact. Any woman who doesn't notice this and ultimately mothers this man's children is at fault.
Yeah, it takes two. However, the woman is the gatekeeper. It's not like some man hypnotizes a woman into sex against her will.
That's why the single mother gets slander. Don't complain that "mothers of the earth" get slandered. Men get it twice as worse.
