Let me preface this by saying I love black when and since my teens I’ve dated black women exclusively, but recently it’s really been getting to me that I can’t have a conversation withsome (most)girls unless it’s about some asinine tv show or small talk about what happened at work today. They take no interest in politics or science or anything outside of her little circle for friends and whatever it is they gossip about. And when I do try to talk tothem about something deeper, something even remotely more abstractthey,re either disinterested or incapable of having an intelligent conversation about it. When I think about it the same thing is true of almost every black woman I know, even the sisters I meet atcollege are only interested in learning just enough to pass the class or the next exam, they just to seem to have any desire to learn, they don’t seem to have that healthy sense of curiosity. Has anyone noticed the same thing or am I just approaching the wrong women?

Only the best is good enough....

BP, you might want to rephrase that question to read "Why is it that the black women I attract, or am attracted to lack intellectual depth". Then maybe, you might find the answer you are looking for.
P/S I'm not being snide.

BP
You have said yourself that you are only interested in 11/10 looking women, they have to be gorgeous before you would date them..... well maybe it stands to reason that with all that "beauty" they dont have much tme to think of much else after all it must be a full time job trying to maintain their good looks...... plain janes like myself maybe have abit more time on our hand so we naturally take an interest in the world around us.... dunno, just a thought.

Provokative title.
Black women outclass black men in the class room. They could easily accuse black men that have a tendancy to drop out of school for not being intellectually minded.
Women that dont like to talk are the best ones for me.

Black Power I'm really disgusted at the title of your thread and think you need to revise it - disgraceful! Are you also saying that you find more intelligent non Black women? Nonsense!
Maybe this acknowlegment should tell you it's time you startedto reflect upon the type of women that you desire... Stop looking for those womenwho look good on the outside but have ****all to offer on the inside thenconfused3
God determines who walks into your life...It's up to you who you let walk away, who you let stay, and who you refuse to let go. May God bless all of you and your life be full of Peace, Prosperity, Love and Abundance. Amen

Chances are you're attracting women who lack depth, and/or the women with depth you do meet dont feel inclined to hold a deep conversation with you.
Another point is that I personally will not open up enough with work colleagues/general acquaintances to have any kind of deep conversation - so if I dont know you good, don't expect me to share any more than my opinion of Big Brother with you!
